Mahindra has officially expanded its electric portfolio with the introduction of the XUV 3XO EV. Priced from Rs. 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the electric compact SUV is available in two trims — AX5 and AX7L. According to the company, customer deliveries will begin on February 23, 2026.
The fully loaded AX7L variant carries a premium of Rs. 97,000 over the AX5, offering a notable jump in technology, safety and cabin features.

Mahindra offering The XUV 3XO EV is a 39.4 kWh package. Under real-world driving conditions, the electric SUV is expected to deliver a range of up to 285 km on a single charge.
Power output stands at 147.5 hp with a torque figure of 310 Nm. This setup enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds, making it one of the quicker options in its segment.
Drivers can choose between three driving modes — Fun, Fast and Fearless — each tuned for different performance and efficiency requirements.

XUV 3XO EV range and charging
The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,821 mm in width and 1,647 mm in height, giving it a compact yet well-proportioned stance for city and highway use. It sits on a 2,600 mm wheelbase, which helps free up cabin space and improves rear-seat comfort.
With a ground clearance of 201 mm, the electric SUV is well suited to Indian road conditions, including rough patches and speed breakers. The XUV 3XO EV is configured as a five-seater and is positioned in the compact electric SUV segment, balancing everyday practicality with a manageable footprint.

Visually, the XUV 3XO EV closely mirrors the petrol and diesel versions, maintaining the same proportions and overall styling. Design highlights include LED projector headlamps, sleek LED daytime running lights with integrated turn indicators, and distinctive infinity-style LED tail lamps.
Additional elements such as roof rails and a rear spoiler add to its sporty appeal.
Mahindra offers the electric SUV in six exterior new colours:
Galaxy Grey, Stealth Black, Tango Red, Everest White, Nebula Blue and Deep Forest.

The AX5 variant comes fitted with R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the AX7L steps up to larger R17 alloys. Sunroof options also differ, with a single-pane unit on the AX5 and a panoramic sunroof reserved for the AX7L.
Inside, both trims feature dual 10.25-inch HD screens — one for infotainment and another for the fully digital instrument cluster. Soft-touch leatherette finishes are used across the dashboard and door panels, with the AX7L further enhancing the cabin through premium seat upholstery.
Standard equipment across both variants includes dual-zone climate control, wireless smartphone charging, rear AC vents, multiple USB charging ports, keyless entry, push-button start, and a 60:40 split-folding rear seat.

The AX5 variant itself is generously equipped, offering cruise control, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, a rear-view camera, ESP, six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring and Mahindra’s Adrenox connected car system.
The Adrenox platform supports over 80 connected features such as remote vehicle access, live vehicle data, navigation support, built-in Alexa integration, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Sound output is handled by a six-speaker audio system.
Opting for the AX7L brings a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS package. This includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane keep assist, smart pilot assist, traffic sign recognition, forward collision warning, high beam assist and autonomous emergency braking for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.

Safety and convenience are further enhanced through a 360-degree camera system with blind view monitoring, front parking sensors, and additional driver assistance technologies.
Premium additions on the AX7L include an auto-dimming IRVM, a cooled glove box, illuminated vanity mirrors, refined interior accents, and a 7-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos support.
The XUV 3XO EV supports DC fast charging. Using a 50 kW charger, the battery can be replenished from 0 to 80 percent in approximately 50 minutes, making it practical for daily commuting as well as longer drives.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base AX5 variant and Rs. 14.96 lakh for the AX7L variant.
