On the performance front, the Ultra delivers strong numbers. It accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.77 seconds and has a top speed of 115 kmph, placing it among the fastest electric scooters in the country. Bookings for the Simple Ultra are now open at Simple Energy showrooms.

Simple One Gen 2: Two Battery Options, Better Performance

The Simple One Gen 2 is now available with two battery configurations. The 4.5 kWh version offers an IDC range of 236 km and is priced at Rs. 1,69,999 ex-showroom Bengaluru. The larger 5 kWh variant extends the range to 265 km IDC and costs Rs. 1,77,999. Both models are available for immediate purchase.

Beyond range, the Gen 2 updates bring noticeable mechanical improvements. The scooter is now 8 kg lighter, bringing kerb weight down to 129 kg, while peak motor output on the higher-spec version has increased to 8.8 kW.

More Features, Better Everyday Usability

Across the Gen 2 range, Simple Energy has added a 1-litre front glovebox, a dedicated charging port, a redesigned dashboard, and updated rider controls. Practicality has been improved with 35 litres of underseat storage and a more accessible 780 mm seat height.

The feature list is equally comprehensive. Traction control, cruise control, four levels of regenerative braking, and six riding modes are standard. Disc brakes with CBS are offered across variants.

Performance varies by battery size. The 4.5 kWh Simple One Gen 2 produces 6.4 kW and 52 Nm, reaching 90 kmph and doing 0 to 40 kmph in 3.3 seconds. The 5 kWh version pushes output to 8.8 kW and 72 Nm, matches the Ultra’s 115 kmph top speed, and completes the 0 to 40 kmph sprint in just 2.55 seconds.

Simple One S Gen 2: Balanced and More Efficient

The Simple One S Gen 2 also sees meaningful upgrades. It now offers an IDC range of 190 km from its 3.7 kWh battery. Power output stands at 6.5 kW with 52 Nm of torque, enabling a top speed of 90 kmph and a 0 to 40 kmph time of 3 seconds.

Braking performance has been improved, with stopping distance reduced to 18.49 metres. Seat height and storage capacity remain unchanged, maintaining the scooter’s everyday practicality. The Simple One S Gen 2 is priced at Rs. 1,49,999 ex-showroom Bengaluru.

Tech and Warranty

The Simple One Gen 2 features a 7-inch touchscreen display, while the One S Gen 2 uses a non-touch screen. Both scooters come with 5G e-SIM connectivity, LTE, Bluetooth, OTA updates, navigation, TPMS, Park Assist, and Find My Vehicle functionality. All hardware is IP65 rated for durability.
